A California Thanksgiving Week

Last week we drove to Northern California to spend some time in our old stomping grounds and with John's brother and family.  We had such a great time!  My kids were in heaven playing with their cousins and we really miss hanging out with them all the time like we used to.  It was really nice to see some old friends too.  We spent one day in the city--hitting a fun park and Pier 39 with the stinky sea lions.  We also got to have Thanksgiving with my Aunt and Uncle and that was amazing and also nice to not have to cook the entire elaborate meal.  I will have to get some pictures from our dinner because it was mighty fine!  My camera was lost in the black hole we call my purse so I missed my opportunity to get any Thanksgiving shots.  Here are some of my favorite pics from our trip.

 Lucy went on this concrete slide at least twenty times.  I think her jeans got ruined but look at that smile... priceless.

 Isaac loved the slide to and after one time down with his sister he was ready to roll on his own like any big boy 2 year-old.  

 Esther and Walker preferred climbing to the hard long slide.  They are so cute how they play together.  Esther idolizes Walker and Drew idolizes Esther so it's adorable to watch them.

 Lucy and Flora loved playing together... and eating ice cream together.  You probably can't see it but both of their mouths are smeared with ice cream.

 There was a huge beautiful tree in the city that we just had to take a picture by...  plus we were waiting for Stu and Beth.  

Here's the whole gang on the pier.  This was the best shot we could get...  I'm not sure if Flora and Isaac are glaring at each other or if they were just both too tired to look at the camera.  Poor Harris didn't have a chance to quite make it in the picture but you can see his little hooded head.  

It was hard to come home after such a nice week and so much time with John/Daddy but it's back to the grindstone for us.  Thanks for a great vacation!
