Esther the Elf

 Esther had her class Christmas program tonight.  She was adorable--singing, bell ringing, doing actions, and even swaying back and forth while snapping.  I think she had a good time.  It was fun to watch her--even Isaac was entertained the whole time.  Grandma Hess was nice to join us for the program!

After the program Esther wanted to show Lucy her classroom and Lucy just sat right down in Esther's desk and was happy as a clam.  She looked ready for kindergarten!  I'm not sure why she is showing me her lip gloss in this picture--maybe because she put it on twenty times during the program.  She really loves it!

The best part about the program was seeing Esther get so excited to have us see it, wanting to wear her new fancy Christmas dress, and then watching her be proud of herself and her performance and not being able to help but smile when she saw us in the audience.  Love that girl.
