Esther's first REAL day of school

Esther officiall started school today.  She had an orientation and testing last week but this week is the real deal.  I've been a little sad that the no schedule phase of my life is ending but Esther is ready and excited for school.  Of course, she has loved the new school clothes too!  I didn't think I would get emotional today but I had to hold in some tears when the moment came and she walked inside to her classroom.  Sniff, sniff...

Esther's Kindergarten orientation day

I had to get Lucy a new school outfit too just to make things more just for the younger sister that usually wears the hand-me downs.

Here she is all backpacked up, and ready to go with Lucy WISHING so hard that she was going to kindergarten too!  I tried to make two years not sound like too long before she would go too.

Kate, looks like we were both posting a very similar post at the exact same time! It was a little emotional for me too with Ashlyn. I know how you feel. I thought it would be easier the second time around, but not so much! Sorry I haven't called you lately. I've been a little under the weather.... :) We need to get together soon!

She is SO ready! I feel bad for Lucy too, but won't she love having most of your attention?

Oh, and can I please have your girl clothes? ;) They are ALL so adorable!

Congrats to Esther on her first day of Kindergarten! Can you believe our babies are old enough for this? What happened to the good ol' days of Joy School? :)

Ohmygosh...your kids are getting so big that I can hardly believe it sometimes. I'm sad to miss all these big milestones! Please give them huge hugs and smooches from us.

What darling outfits. I love the first day of school pictures. I took Mace today to Preschool for the very first time and she loved it! I cannot believe they're growing up so very fast.
