We had some of John's family come into town for Christmas and New Years. We had a great time hanging out even if it was a little chaotic some times with 9 small kids in the house. My favorites: Christmas Eve and Christmas (especially watching the girls open their presents), Lucy's birthday, dinner and a movie with just the adults (thank you Kathleen and Bob!), seeing the lights at Temple Square, the Carl Bloch exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art--so amazing!, Boondocks, shopping with my sisters-in-law, having John around for a week straight, eating lots of amazing home-cooked food as well as lots of delicious restaurant food (Food is always a favorite), watching movies, playing games, and just visiting with the fam.
Here are some pictures from the holiday break:

Getting our sledding on--it was TOO COLD!
Isaac loved sledding and his purple gloves--but we both loved the warm car more.
All the cousins building a snowman with Uncle John/Daddy
I LOVED having other people cooking in my kitchen--all my in-laws are great cooks!
Flora Kate and Isaac in their strollers at Temple Square. Flora loved bossing Isaac around and he only got cranky a few times with her for it.
Our big group at the Temple Square Lights.
Esther and her cousin Drew at the hotel pool--that was one of the kids favorite activities!
The kids in their Christmas pajamas and forced smiles.
The girls on Christmas Eve with their cousins--so pumped!!
Isaac's favorite Christmas present--a flashing toothbrush!
The girls must have been good because Santa brought them both the pillow pets that they wanted! Christmas morning=pure joy for them.
Mommy and Daddy got them the princess doll collection--they LOVE anything princess!
Lucy, Grandpa Bob, and Esther at Temple Square.
John's brother Stuart got injured at the hotel pool and was very worried about his deep wound. This is when John was about to rip a band aid and 50 hairs off Stu's leg in order to clean and re-bandage.
Stu bravely enduring the pain
Stu in full recovery with his Hello Kitty bandage on a freshly shaven area.
We had so much fun with the Taylor's and Thompson's. We missed James and Janine but hopefully we'll be able to get together some time soon. Thanks for making the drive and flight everyone.

Oh the memories...
That was such a fantastic trip and i'm so glad you documented all of it. Thanks for hosting the entire Thompson/Taylor group...we had a wonderful time! The best part was getting all the little cousins together and watching them adore each other. (I wish I had a photo of Walker and Esther cuddling at dinner on our last night there...oh and one of Quinn and Walker being naughty little boys!)
Such a great time you guys...thank you for hosting!! So my leg wound is still not completely healed...that sucker was deep...
