Isaac turned 18 months old yesterday. He is finally going to nursery at church and he miraculously even seems to like it! John and I are in heaven! We actually learn things at church now. He is getting to be so much fun despite his ability to make messes and destroy things in very small amounts of time. Some of his favorite activities: pulling out all the pots and pans, getting out rags to wipe the table with me, greeting Daddy each day with a squeal and a hug when he gets home, emptying the dishwasher whether the help is wanted or not (although he knows where to put most of the stuff), playing with his sisters' toys, pushing buttons of any sort, taking baths, and watching the printer print. He doesn't have many words but yesterday he threw out the word "bubble" like a champ. Weird since the only other words we have heard him say are "Ma!!" and "Daaaa!!!" (they are usually screamed). And he does do a little "Amen" grunt at the end of prayers. But other that he just makes a lot of different sounds, occasionally barks, and is constantly on the move. No toy or person can hold his interest for long. He drives his sisters and me crazy during story time because he climbs on my lap and gets off about four or five times during one book! Changing his diaper isn't very fun--he has become a kicker and he is strong! Every time is a battle and unfortunately he is quite the regular guy.
This is one more of his favorite activities: he LOVES to look out the window at our neighbor's dog Copper. Any time he hears a bark he runs to the window to see what Copper is doing. It's adorable. He tries to talk and tell me all about it too--it mostly comes out "Wo... wo wo wo."
Isaac keeps us on our toes and keeps us laughing. We all love smothering his soft cheeks with hugs and kisses.

What a handsome boy! Can't believe he's that old. Hey, by the way, your cousin Jamie just moved into my ward. She was in my ward in Provo when she lived with Ju on Condo Row. Small World!
