It would have been nice to be somewhere sunny and warm for spring break but we had no such luck. Here are the highlights:
Sleepover at Grandpa and Papa's.
Snow and rain.
Girls still had ballet.
Sleet.
I got my hair cut--Yay!! My cousin is so amazing with the scissors!
Hail, rain and snow.
Clearfield Aquatic Center--fun but so crowded and when someone pooped in the pool and we had to clear out for twenty five minutes I bribed the girls with going home to watch Tangled so we could leave. I'm slightly agoraphobic. Isaac was pretty nervous about the whole experience but that turned out to be nice since he just sat by me at the edge of the water and occasionally swooshed his hands in the water. (is swooshed a word?)
Sleet.
Boondocks and McDonalds--we usually go to the kiddie zone (indoor playground) when we go to Boondocks but this time they told us Esther was too tall. So instead we played a bunch of arcade games and then headed to McDonalds for some indoor playground time and lunch. The girls were in heaven--it doesn't better than happy meals and arcades to them.
More snow and rain.
Saturday it really snowed all day long--it stopped for maybe an hour but that was it! I got my pantry cleaned and organized--it looks awesome! And I talked John into cleaning out the fridge for me. Yay! In the afternoon we watched Despicable Me and folded laundry. It was a nice family day.
But really, can't it be Spring already???

Katie went to McDonalds?? I'm picturing your fridge magnet right now laughing at you. You know, the one that says "Eat Organic - or as your Grandma called it FOOD".
(BTW, we go to McD's for the artery-clogging nuggets and the indoor play structure all the time!)
Oh, and please move to gorgeous California soon...spring is in full bloom!
What fun! I love all the great things you were able to do while at home. You're so creative!
