April

The month has flown by... I can't believe it's almost over.  Here are some picture highlights of our April.  

 Dyeing Easter eggs--always a favorite pastime and always at least one big spill.

 A last minute trip to Disneyland with my family to give us all some cheer.

 Lucy at the hotel pool--possibly one of her favorite parts of the trip (especially since so many of the rides either scared her or made her worry she would get sick).

But apparently they loved it!

 The kids love love love the teacups... just ask Isaac... it's his favorite ride ever!

 On the Zephyr, Esther's hat blew into the water but fortunately Disneyland is a place of happiness and a nice worker fished it out for us.  It took a while and by the time he got it we had a little crowd gathered and there was even a small cheer for the retrieval.  

 Disneyland is fun but exhausting.. I was wishing I was in the stroller by the end of each day.

 We went to the beach on our last day to recover from the crowds and it was SO COLD.  But the kids still had a great time in the freezing water and sand. 

 Isaac can't resist a good big beach full of sand. 

And we even got to see some dolphins!  Not sharks (I reassured Lucy many times!)

We had so much fun with my family and it was a great ESCAPE.  Esther used to claim she was the only one in her class that hadn't been to Disneyland and now she can join the crowd!  

One more highlight--A couple days ago Isaac made me watch him a few times while he walked backwards! Such an amazing skill that he had to boast to his mom-I wish I had a picture for that!
