Mother's Day/My Birthday

We celebrated Mothers Day and my birthday this weekend.  So fun to have them back to back.  :)  We had a barbeque with my family on Saturday night.  Then on Sunday John cooked an amazing dinner for me.  Then my birthday today.  The girls got me breakfast in bed both days.  It was the first for both days not having my mom there.  She had an amazing ability to make me feel like a "vip" on my birthday-I miss that even though I'm getting old. :)  the days were a little empty without her-as all holidays have been without her.  She was such a light and a boost-man do I miss her.  John was very sweet to me today and came home early and cleaned the whole house.  I think my kids were quite done with celebrating me hy the end of the day--I was glad to have it over myself.  I am grateful for all the kind wishes and gifts from sweet friends and family.
