Campin'

We finally made it camping!  I told John I would go if he cleaned the rv out and got everything ready.  I did plan the food. :)  We headed to Jordanelle Reservoir for some fishing and great outdoors.  My brother joined us up there and some friends came up the second night to hang out.  The kids LOVED fishing even though they didn't catch a thing and John ended up spending most the time untangling fishing line and restringing poles (if that's what you call it.)   We slept okay--except for the one night Isaac fell of his bed onto John's head--fortunately John managed to catch him.  The pregnant girl definitely enjoyed the cooler weather but it may have been her last camping trip for a while.  :)

This picture is a little blurry but I had to show one of Lucy.. she was the funniest camper.  Here are some of her one-liners:

(About our campsite) "Mom, someone needs to weed this area!!"
(About Lige's fishing bag) "Ooooo, Uncle Lige, I like you fish purse!"
(About some of John's fishing lures) "Daddy, these are cute fish earrings!!"
Sitting by the campfire and turning her hands over to warm her knuckles she said, "Uncle Lige, this is how you warm your ankles."

She loved camping and seems to especially love dirt and rocks.   She sat on John's lap at one point and sand started spilling onto him and we discovered she had filled her pockets with sand from a campsite because it was "such nice sand."

The kids can't wait to go camping and fishing again... I, on the other hand...
