Moved!!!

We have now been in our new house for one week.  We love it!  It's SO nice to be homeowners and not renters.  We are so thankful for everyone that helped us move--we couldn't have donw it without you.  This is our eighth move in seven years of marriage and we are hoping it can be our last for a while.  Hooray for finally settling down although we have enjoyed our many different areas.  I better get back to those boxes but first here's a couple events from the past couple weeks.

The girls took swimming lessons.  Esther loved it and Lucy cried for half of it.  Esther passed and Lucy was recommended to take level 1 again.  I am proud of Lucy for at least not crying at all on the last day.  Baby steps!

Also Esther finished preschool and had her graduation program.  There was lots of cute singing.  Esther was so cute being nervous before her program.  It's hard to believe she is moving on to kindergarten!

Esther with her certificate and Grandma holding her self portrait (she made sure I noticed the sharp blue hat she painted on herself).

We went to the Discovery Gateway museum with our friends.  After we ate lunch the kids were hot, the sun was out so we let them get soaked running through the fountains.  Not five minutes later the clouds rolled in, the wind picked up and the kids were FREEZING.  Thank goodness we hit the Old Navy extra 50% off clearance sale so we could get them some cute new DRY shirts and not look like neglectful mommies when the rain started pouring down.  Although I'm sure we still did since we didn't being a single jacket.

Yay! Congrats on the new house! We can't wait to come see it...and break in the new guest room.

Those pics of the girls at swim lessons are darling...Lucy is about as brave as my little tender-hearted Walker at that age. Now he just loves swimming every day in swim team so don't worry, she'll love it someday!
