Esther lost one of her front teeth last week. She waited and waited until it was so loose a bite into a roll would have taken it out. She finally worked up the courage to pull it out herself. She didn't put it under her pillow because she wanted to take it to school and show her class first. The next night she put it under her pillow. In the morning she came, with the tears forming in her eyes, to tell me that the tooth fairy hadn't come!!! I explained to her that some times the tooth fairy gets really busy and doesn't make it by until the morning. Thankfully the tooth fairy is very stealthy and pulled off a morning exchange of the tooth for money. Next time the tooth fairy will not be so lame.
