We had dinner at my dad's house for Easter. My mom used to always hold a separate Passover dinner to teach us about that holiday and all the religious symbols of the dinner. Without her here we didn't have the motivation to hold two separate dinners so we combined the two and subtracted the lamb (none of us were sure how to cook it and none of us ever loved it.:) My mom made holidays so amazing and it wasn't the same without her but we made the best of it. The ladies even wore their "head coverings" for dinner. Isaac was happy to eat more eggs. My dad wore his official Jewish garb. I think my mom would have been proud of our efforts.
