Coughiest girl on the block
Esther has another cough. I think I've mentioned before how bad her coughs are so I'm feeling a little down tonight that she is on the brink of another one. It's especially draining since she really has not stopped coughing since before Christmas. Let me just tell you what our routine is every night for her: Go potty, wash hands, take cough medicine, brush teeth, take "breathing" medicine (inhaler), set up humidifier (I only wish I could write how Esther says it because every time she says it it's so off I don't realize what she's talking about) and don't forget the eucalyptus drops in the water, say prayers, read book, put vicks on her feet with socks carefully over that (proven to be very cough effective) and on her chest, help her into bed with her double pillows to minimize the post nasal drip coughing (she's practically sitting up sleeping). Phew.... It's a long process. And even with all this sometimes she is back coughing by 2 or 3 depending on the severity of the cough. Every morning she coughs until she takes her inhaler and eats breakfast. Cough cough cough.. Poor girl. She actually got the coughing asthma from her dad who still gets bad coughs too. Someday we'll have to have a built in humidifier and costco size our vicks and delsym (an excellent cough medicine). Oh wait, that would be nice to have NOW. Sorry this was a bit of a negative post. I'll do better next time.

HOLY SMOKES! Your kids are sooo cute. Sorry to hear about the cough! That's rough on the little ones. Have yo man give me a buzz so we can catch up!!
I feel for you. It is so sad when your kid is sick. Macie currently has pink eye, and it is driving me crazy. When she wakes up in the morning she cannot open her eyes. They are glued shut with green goop. I love the Dora table. What a nice present.
