Lucy is funny!!!

This picture just gives a little glimpse into Lucy's fun personality as of late. This is actually her trying to do "shhhhhhhhhh" with her finger. But instead of the pointer finger she uses the thumb and spreads out the whole hand which is a very inneffective way to shush people because it will only make them laugh. Lucy is such a little person now. She want to do everything Esther is doing but isn't quite old enough to do it like playdough, riding tricycles, jumping on the trampoline. Today she even demanded that she drink out of a Dora sippie cup just like Esther. She is also turning into quite the dancer just like her sister although her only moves are turning around in a very slow circle with her arms out of clapping while bopping her head. One more funny story is the other day I tried to put her on my lap when we were all sitting at the table to eat a snack and she just kept crying and crying so I finally just put her down on the ground to let her cry there instead. She kept on crying while she went and picked up the booster in the corner of the kitchen and awkwardly walked back to the table with it indicating her deepest wishes: to sit at the table like a big girl. So I conceded and still that wasn't good enough. She wanted her own bowl and her own spoon, and of course to eat it all on her own. I can't believe she's getting so grown up! She can do a few signs like good night, all done, more, and drink. She also has some new words: all done, ma ma (sounds like ba ba), and today she said purple!!! Lucy is at such a fun age. She makes me laugh everyday!
