Pigeon Hating
Last night I couldn't sleep for various reasons, but mostly I was consumed with hating the pigeons living on my house. They currently just live on one side and it's mostly by the girls' rooms but it's disgusting! Some pigeons recently tried to start living on the other side of the house too but we try to daily scare them away and John was able to wash their next down. The noise they make is hideous... almost like a cross between a cat "purr" and a sheep "baa" but starting with a "mmm"(I'm sure that makes no sense but it's the best I could do). Then their little feet making scratching noises too as they move around. Our landlord doesn't really care to do anything about it and we're not ready to pay for it ourselves. One time my husband and his friend shot a few down and it was a little quieter for a while. Now it seems they are back in full force. We used to bang on the wall on the inside and it would scare them away outside. Now, it doesn't. If we had a very tall ladder maybe we could cut off their nesting area but it seems like they would still just hang out on the tiny ledges above the windows. Sometimes when they try to live on the other side of the house they we start getting pigeon poop buildup on our driveway. Pigeons are so nasty and gross... I never knew until I lived here.

What did John shoot them with? A BB gun? James has fantasies about shooting the birds in our yard.
I am totally frustrated for you. I do not like pigeons. They're very sick and nasty. When we went to Paris, France they were everywhere. They would attack us, poop on us, steal our food, and make their hideous noises. I'm so sorry. I hope that you can get rid of them somehow and get some well deserved zzzzzs.
Kate I have to agree with you!! We have a ton here in Reno and I think every single one like the ledges on my house. Our neighbor used to shoot them to, but I have not seen them out there latley. John can come over and shoot the birds here any day.
