It was my birthday this week. I'm not a huge fan of my birthday but it's fun to see the girls get so excited about everything birthday. Plus I got to go out for some delicious Japanese food with John while my parents watched the girls. The girls were in heaven because they got to plant the garden with Papa while we were gone (thus they had to have a bath promptly after). Papa had a great time too but is a little worried the carrots are going to be sprouting at random places all over the garden. We came back after dinner for cake with the fam. My mom got me an amazing Coldstone cake--she knows me so well. It was definitely nice to celebrate with my family but I'm glad it's the birthday is over. Oh, and Esther told me I'm getting old. Love that girl.
