Esther's Fifth

I can't believe I have a five year-old. I'll probably be that saying that every year on her birthday. Esther was so excited for her birthday. We talked about what she wanted to do and after I suggested something she said, "That's not what I had in mind."

What was decided--Boondocks on one night and then the next night was a party at Grandma's house along with Uncle Lige's last night home. It was bittersweet. Esther even got teary at the end of the night. She is a smart, sensitive, curious, social, and creative girl. She is also a great big sister--I love when she helps me with Isaac. I'm so looking forward to having an awesome future babysitter!

This is Esther with her bread bear and cards from preschool.

We had one last wonderful sing-a-long with Uncle Lige after the birthday party--the girls got their dancing feet going with Auntie Ju. We will miss his vocals and piano!

Esther blowing her candles with all her might!
I can't believe we got away with a non-pink cake this year.Esther at Boondocks miniature bowling--she got two strikes! I love her face in this picture.
The girls loved that place--especially picking out some prizes with their tickets at the end.
She loved every second of her birthday celebration!
