As you can see--the girls still can't get enough of this chub. I can't believe how big Isaac looks in these pictures. For the first time while taking these monthly pictures he kept trying to sit up! He's growing up so fast! (ha ha ha). When I took him to the doctor for a rash a while ago I explained my frustrations of him not sleeping through the night and wanting to nurse every two and half hours (like a newborn). She suggested starting to feed him solids three times a day. I was hoping this wasn't the answer because feeding babies solids is not my favorite baby activity--it's messy, it takes FOREVER, and did I mention how messy it is? Notwithstanding--we jumped in. Wow. He basically started with eating a full jar or bowl of something at each sitting. My little guy can eat! He's loved everything we've given him. It has improved his sleep and his frequent nursing so I guess I should stop complaining. Now, if I could just figure out how to get him to sleep without the swaddle... I think I'll be swaddling him until he's two. Isaac isn't crawling yet but he manages to roll a bit from here to there. He likes to scream occasionally (fortunately not nearly as much as the girls did) and we're starting to work on sitting up since he has almost outgrown his infant carseat and Mommy needs him to learn this skill quick so we can still go grocery shopping. Esther has started calling him "cubby", which makes us laugh.
