Isaac's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Isaac's third birthday--he was pretty excited about it although he can't quite hold up three fingers yet without a struggle.  And no, he isn't potty trained yet.  We are holding our hope strong that he might be by kindergarten but as of now... he LOVES his diapers even though he has very cool cars underwear.  Isaac definitely keeps us laughing.  He has some night fears like his sisters and since we can't let him sleep by Esther (he gets the girls too riled up and no one goes to sleep) he falls asleep every night in our bed and then we move him to his bed (with some very cool cars bedding--still not enough to attract him).  He sleeps every night with Mitch Moose (he got it from the hospital when Iris died) and Blusie the Moosie-from when he was born.  He has a thing for Moose although the other day he said Mitch was a dog so I'm not sure if he realizes what a Moose really is.  Isaac LOVES cars, trains, balls, dressing up with his sisters, swimming, playing with my phone, and riding his bike, tricycle or the plasma car.  His favorite foods are all breakfast foods ("pantakes," "yodurk," etc..)  His least favorite food is anything we have for dinner but at least he will usually drink his green drink.  He is still allergic to all nuts and this year we found out he's also allergic to sunflower seeds.  He has started to ask me before he eats something, "This have peanuts in it?"  My sister in-law watched my kids for a while on his birthday and when I dropped them off I said, "Happy Birthday!"  And he said, "Happy Birthday" back.

 This is his birthday book from Grandma--he calls it his Grandma Book and it is his current favorite.  

 Auntie Mary made his cute cake--it had a brownie layer, oreo layer, and chocolate chip cookie layer.

 Isaac got a cool cars bike for his birthday and he calls it his "cool bike."  

We decided it was time for him to have something non-girly to ride--so far he has only had the Dora tricycle and a baby princess ride-on.  Now we just need to get him a non-girly helmet!

The only problem is he has not yet figured out the brakes--my dad was trying to work with him but he was struggling to understand the concept.  Hopefully he figures it out soon because it scares me when he gets riding around our circle too fast!  

We sure love our Isaac (Bubs) and are so glad he is part of our family.
