The 24th!

We had a very fun Pioneer Day, or 24th of July.  We started the day at our friend's parents' house for breakfast, a water slide, and a kiddie train.  The kids loved it!  It was quite the setup and I think Wes could have stayed on the train all day long.  In the evening we had some friends over for a big dinner and did some pioneer games.  Of course, I forgot to take any pictures but the games were fun to watch.  The kids had to drink a flour water mixture, collect pretend buffalo chips, and then stand in a bucket of ice water to feel like a pioneer crossing a frozen river.  One kid or two may have barfed from the flour/water drink.  No hypothermia.  We are pretty luck to live in this day filled with conveniences and so many options.
