Friday Night Treat

It was a long busy week so we decided we deserved a treat. We were too tired to actually drive to town so we just headed to the local "market" which is more like a 7-11. I wasn't going to let Lucy have her own but I was too tired to deal with the screams, plus she did eat all her broccoli like a champ. As you can see, letting Lucy have her own was a huge misjudgement but I think she had a pretty good time with her first push-pop. Even after she finished she still was enjoying it by shoving her fist in her mouth to suck off the sticky residue.

Needless to say, they both had a warm bath to end the day and get cleaned up. Lucy's shirt might be permantly damaged.

I have to say that after our sugary ice cream treats... we all felt a little better. A piece of fruit or a handful of nuts would not have done the trick.
