This week is a big week for Esther. Yesterday, she had her FIRST day of ballet/tap class, which she has been looking forward to for the past month.
Then today, Esther had her FIRST day of preschool (joyschool). I can't believe this is her FIRST "first day of school" picture! Should I be emotional? She is quite thrilled with both her new endeavors. I keep asking her which one was her favorite and she keeps naming them both. I think she's already asked me three times when is the next ballet class and when is the next day of preschool. I'm feeling pretty lucky today to be the one that gets to stay home and take her girls to their "firsts" and watch their emotions and passions emerge. Nothing will make you smile like watching your three year old try to put her leg in the air and balance (pretty near impossible for their age), or hearing her proudly tell you about keeping all her stars on her chart at joyschool (a discipline measure), or how she took her doggies, pretzel and pretzel, for show and tell. Thanks to John for letting me spend all day with this face (she calls this her "candy smile").

I can't believe how big and tall she is!! It seems like just yesterday that she wasn't even a year old!
Her candy smile is the best. Don't you just live for those moments?
Just PRECIOUS!
