This is one reason I have the best job. When I send Esther to quiet time she is generally dressed in normal clothes. When I go to get her out of quiet time she is either wearing a Sunday dress or her ballet outfit. Today was a bit of a suprise when I called her down she showed up wearing this. I couldn't stop laughing. This unique outfit is a combination of two old swimsuits from past years. She told me she was pretending her carpet was the water and that she was at the beach with her "pups" and her blanket of course. I'm so glad to see her use her imagination. That makes for the best play time. I wish I still had tons of fun pretending my room was actually the beach. Also during quiet time today she drew me a picture and I knew it was just for me because she put a big splotch of black on it and generally she does not use black or brown (why would you when there is such a color as pink?). It was a sweet little token of love.
