Hating/Loving Onions

Today was a big day in Esther's life. At Joy School they helped make a vegetable soup. When Esther saw the onions go in she declared, as she has countless times in my kitchen, "I HATE ONIONS!" She made the same comment as the celery went into the soup too. When the soup was finally done Esther polished off two bowls of it. As we walked to the car she was able to admit, "I actually LIKE onions and celery!" I'm so proud of my girl finally realizing the essential part onions play in our world. Hooray for no more onion whining!
